Barebone VOOM2

This is a similar barebone to our Blackbox Celeron 1300. However, that motherboard does not fit into the Voom2 Chasis which we know so many people love because of its cool looks. So in this barebone we are fitting the new 1.5ghz Jetway board which has a fanless C700 CPU running at 1ghz, supports DDR2. It includes an 8 channel soundcard, 2 external USB 2 ports, 2 LAN, RS232 and VGA onboard. There are SATA and IDE ports internally to take whatever kind of drive you want to fit.
There is no external PCI slot on the VOOM2 case but you can fit a mini PCI wireless card with a couple of adapters. You can fit an internal slim DVD drive. We would recommend an external USB drive however for flexibility of mounting as often these systems are boot mounted! It has a further 2 USB ports on the front of the unit along with phono connectors for plugging into your AMP (cable required).
This barebone comes with 512mb of DDR2 and 120gb laptop drive as standard, with no operating system. However we are happy to add this before shipping if you dont want to. Just select the relevant options
The standard PSU is the 120w PICO unit but we recommend the M1 ATX with its intelligent start up and shutdown options and over voltage protection. Well worth the extra in our humble opinion. The M3 doesnt fit this case due to the location of the drive tray.
