FAQ

1. How many devices can be connected?
When considering which unit to use it is important to check how many devices are required for the application(s) being used. This is because each unit has a limited number of expansion ports such as serial, PCI and USB sockets.

USB Expansion
The number of USB ports can be increased two ways; fitting an internal PCI card or connecting a USB hub to a unit USB port. Not all devices can be connected to a USB hub due to power constraints. The table below shows what ports are required:

2. Does the Lilliput Pop out touch screen play CDs?

No. It is a radio, TV tuner and pc touch screen only. To play CDs you need to either attach a CD or DVD to the PC, or attached a CD/DVD multi-changer to the Auxilliary input of the monitor. We will shortly have a Car PC that can fit in place of your exisiting stereo which will have a front loading CD/DVD drive. This does mean that if you want the motorised screen you will have to have two available DIN slots in your dashboard.
